LEGO Miles Morales Mech Armor ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00909 Another weekend Vlog that is all about a LEGO set. This time I build the Miles Morales Spider-Man Mech Armor set. It was another typical Mech Armor build with some interesting touches specific to Miles Morales. You can see it all in the video below.

Assembling the Raphael Sprukits from Bandai ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00907 A few years ago I picked up some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Sprukits sets. I had put them away for a while and then I found two of the sets recently and I decided that I would build them for my daily vlog. Some weekends I need to create something to go up and that usually means a toy or something like that. When you sleep all day you can’t take an adventure like the one we took yesterday. So here is the assembly of this kit.

LEGO Marvel Thor in Mech Armor ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00894 I built the LEGO set 76169 the Thor Mech Armor. This was a fun build with a cool minifig of Thor with little Mjolnir. Then you could build a larger Mjolnir for Thor’s suit to hold. I made a video of the build.

Monster Jam Grave Digger LEGO Set ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00887 One of my subscribers to my YouTube channel suggested that I build the Grave Digger set for my daily vlog. I was at Target this week and I saw this set. I wasn’t even in the LEGO section so it was a sign that I had to pick it up and build it this week. The whole build is in today’s vlog.

Martial Arts Stripe Test Day ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00878 Today was Stripe Test for Andy, Eva and Me. Stripe Test happens every month on our way to our next belts. Andy and I need to earn 6 stripes to earn a next belt. Eva is at the level where she has to earn three stripes in order to get her next belt. That means that if we do well this coming month and pass our next Stripe/Belt test then we will each advance to a new belt. After my test this morning I started the daily vlog and my intent was to have each of the kids talk with me about their testing experiences. Eva was eager to do so and I have included some footage of her test in the video. She is doing a really great job in class and really enjoys being there. It is physically demanding but she is really growing stronger and more confident each class. She did very well in her test. I asked Andy if he would like to be a part of the vlog but he did not want to be part of it. Andy is struggling right now in his classes. He has expressed that he no longer enjoys ...

Iron Man Armory – LEGO Marvel Set 76167 ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00873 I built the LEGO set of Iron Man Armory for my daily vlog. This is a fun set that includes Tony Stark and a couple of Iron Man suits plus two A.I.M. Agents. This small set is actually one that I could connect to a previous set called the Hall of Armor. I have that set and it is pretty awesome. This just makes the amount of Armor that Iron Man has even bigger. You can see what the set looks like in today’s vlog below.

Got a New Ring Light ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00814 I do love new equipment days. Today my new Ring Light arrived and I a planning on doing another year of daily vlogs. Now that I have a bigger audience on YouTube I figured I’d work on growing that some more with additional content. For a while now my content has pretty much been all about Fortnite. I enjoy it and it has been bringing people to come and subscribe but that isn’t the only thing that I want the channel to be about. So the Ring Light is HUGE! It has all of these hot shoe slots so that I can attach my camera, a cell phone and more. It is actually much righter than my umbrella lights that I use for making gaming videos. I can adjust this, too by turning it up or down or increasing or decreasing the warmth of the light. So, I can go for super bright white to a warm yellow. This ring light will come in handy when I am making unboxing videos, too. The umbrella lights are good but don’t throw enough light all the way out to the futon. When I unbox som...

Saint Patrick’s Day 2021 ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #00807 We had a nice Sant Patrick’s Day meal tonight after Eva’s Krav Class. This year we boiled two corned beef cuts. We did Point cut in Guinness with the veggies in the crock pot all day. In another crock pot we had flat cut with Killian’s Red and all the veggies except for the cabbage. That was put in later. We decided that we enjoy eating the point cut for the meal but the flat is much better for making corned beef hash the next day because it stays together better than the point which is stringy and falls apart. But now we definitively know what to choose. After dinner we had some Pot ‘O gold cookies that the Leprechaun left for us. Andy observed that when we don’t leave out traps the Leprechaun leaves us treats. He did leave us some mischief, too like green milk and green toilet water. Eva mentioned to Allison that “the Leprechaun” should stir the milk up a lot more. I like that she keeps the magic alive for Andy. The image above was from Andy’s schoolwork ...
