Have You Ever Googled Yourself ...

Come on, you know you've done it. Have you ever typed your name into the Google Search Engine to see what comes up. Well, today I was driving from the airport to the hotel and I heard the DJ ask if you've ever Googled yourself. So I typed my name in to Google to see what came up. The first thing that came up was a recipe for a Grateful Dead. The drink I enjoyed so well while at Sacred Heart University. The second thing that came up was a web page from Saint Anselm College when I was the webmaster. I would have thought that those were all toast but not so. One page remains with my name and Ken's. Actually all the pictures from the first football game in Saint Anselm History after 40 something years remains intact. Then I took out the E. from my name and came up with some other hits. The first one was my race results form the Newman 5K back when I could run a 5K. (That will soon be changing however, as my training begins with the start of July). I finished 188th in that race....

Sara's Wedding ...

Maid of Honor, Lindsay with the Best Man Originally posted by Allison: Yesterday my friend Lindsay's sister, Sara, got married. Sara was kind enough to invite my parents, Drew and me. It was a lovely ceremony in the backyard with family and friends. Lin was the Maid of Honor and as a gift to the bride, sang their wedding song, Have You Ever Been In Love. It was a beautiful moment. Maybe when Drew gets back from Baltimore I can get him to upload a picture of the bride and groom! (Your Wish is my command, and before I get home too.) Fisher Cats Game - Mo Makes the Blog ...

Yesterday Allison and I along with her parents (Marcia and Dan) and her brother Nate and his girlfriend Sarah, and Allison's friend Jess and her husband Eric went to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats Game. And of course our friend Maureen, a.k.a Mo also came to the game with us. In her own words, "I better make the Blog!" So yes, Maureen, you have made the Blog and with photos to prove it! The stadium, (Gill Stadium in Manchester) is really nice now with all the renovations. The field is also very nice. We sat in the bleachers on the first base line. We had the last 9 seats in the far back of the bleachers, which were occupied when we arrived so we sat in some unoccupied seats. Once the people arrived and claimed their seats we moved up to our seat. A big bru-ha-ha (sp) with the "Usher" (read "Bouncer wannabe", and if you have ever heard Ron White talk about bouncers well this would be that sort of guy.). Actually there was no real bru-ha-ha it was just th...

New Toy ...

I was impulsive yesterday and picked up a new toy. I got a HP 245 photo printer. This printer prints without a computer (via memory cards). This thing runs like a champ and has some great software to use to make 4X6 prints. I printed some photos for my sister Shelby from a wedding that she was i. Some photos had red eye and the software took it right out, color balanced everything and printed some sharp little images. And the paper is sweet too, it has this little perforation tab that you can remove and print out borderless 4X6 prints. So maybe I'll get around to actually printing some of the photos I have taken from the various weddings and events I have been to. But I promise nothing. My follow through needs some work.

Lucky Charms ...

So, I've started training for the Disney Marathon. Tip: Don't run after eating Lucky Charms, Magically Delicious? Nope.

Goodbye Snackboy ...

On May 13, 2004 Terry Crummitt passed away tragically in a car crash in Maryland. Who is Terry Crummitt you may ask? Terry was otherwise known as Snackboy. Snackboy was a short 5 minute Internet show that happened daily from Terry's bedroom. He would turn the camera on and record 5 minute stories about his life and adventures. They we sometimes long and rambling do so often funny and entertaining. He would draw little pictures to hold up during his stories too, and they were also very funny. There is a memorial on the Internet to Terry at www.thesync.com, there are some of Terry's best shows and a posting of testimonials from fans. The world will not know the greatness that he could have achieved and I am so upset to find that he is gone. Terry had started getting roles in TV and movies and would probably someday be a very fine comedic actor had the tragedy not occurred. Snackboy will be missed.

Box Seats ...

Last night Erin and Bart took Allison and I out to dinner at Box Seats. If you haven't been to Box Seats then you are missing out on a treat. This place is packed with sports memorabilia, good food and plenty of it. You start out with complimentary soup and bread. The soup flavor changes daily and I've rarely been back to have the same soup again, so it constantly changes. Then they have a 2-4-1-Tuesday event where 13 items on the menu can be purchased at $13.99 for two, this includes soup and bread, salad, and dessert. You can't beat it. After dinner Allison made biscuits and fresh strawberries and blueberries, with whipped cream. A very tasty dessert. Thanks Erin and Bart for such a great evening filled with laughter and interesting stories. We had a great time.
