Photo-A-Day #435 06/17/06 Today Allison and I went to visit my Grandparents in Harwich. We got there early enough to catch one of Grandpa's softball games. He plays with the Cape Cod Senior League. Also called the Old Timer's League or maybe it was once called that. Either way he's been on a team playing so well for many years. He can hit, he can run and he can field. He also did many years of pitching. He's also been known to take care of some grand slams at some games. This picture is of him coming in to score the first run of the game for his team. We thought we were going to be run out of the place because the team was losing and they have been undefeated so far this year. But not to worry the team came back in the end to win it. Photo-A-Day #434 06/16/06 Today is my parent’s anniversary. Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad. Allison and I went down to the cape today after work to have dinner with Mom & Dad. We were going to get them Paul’s Pizza but they had that last night. Oh well maybe next time. Today’s photo is some of Dad’s patio decorating. He took an old tool belt of his and hung it on the door of the outside shower. Looks pretty good there. The patio and garden are beginning to bloom and look terrific again. Glad we are getting some time to spend down here this summer.

Photo-A-Day #433 06/15/06 Oliver was perched in the cat condo. He is staring intently out the window, probably at the cat that looks just like him that has been roaming the neighborhood and giving me a scare every time I see it. The cat looks just like Oliver but is larger when you really look at it, but if I just glance at the cat I think Oliver got out, which is probably one of my biggest worries for the cats at this time. I would lose it if they got out. It is not safe for them out there. Allison and I tried to get to see the Da Vinci Code tonight but it just wasn’t in our timetable. So we caught up on a couple of Smallville episodes. We are just about finished with season one. It has been slow going. I’d like to finish all 4 seasons and pick up season 5 before season 6 starts, then we can watch those episodes as they air on the CW network.

Photo-A-Day #432 06/14/06 NO LEFT TURN! A new traffic pattern has been in effect for over six months or so and still every day I see someone making a left turn where there is no longer a left turn lane. I hope the idiot didn’t kill someone.

Photo-A-Day #431 06/13/06 Tonight we watched the second round of semi finals for Last Comic Standing and guess what Gabriel Iglesias was the people’s choice and he got in the house!! (or rather on the cruise ship). You may remember that I got to meet Gabriel back in January of 2005. If you don’t remember you can go for a refresher. Looking back I also met another competitor named Saleem. I’ve got a picture with him too. So I am urging everyone to vote for Gabriel Iglesias to win, he’s the funniest in the house, on the ship. Anthony Clark cannot pronounce America. He calls it Americ-er. I find that irritating, but yet less irritating than Jay Mohr. Allison and I did some rollerblading this afternoon. Good fun. Allison is getting alot more confident on her blades. We’ll be out on the canal by summer’s end. Oliver didn’t really care about the show. He’s more interested in what the ceiling looks like.

Photo-A-Day #430 06/12/06 Back in the kitchen again. This is my new lunch container. Allison has a matching one as well. They are called the Mr. Bento Lunch Jar. This thing is great. Each container stacks upon the other and is put into the Mr. Bento Lunch Jar and it keeps food really cold or hot, depending upon how you store it. We used it for the first time today. Tonight we grilled a bunch of chicken breast for lunches and some steak tips for dinner. With all the grilling I do I’ve got to get myself one of these, the Grillslinger.

Photo-A-Day #429 06/11/06 What does your fridge door say about you? I wonder if anyone has done a coffee table book about this?
