Completed HP Scavenger Hunt Puzzle ...

I didn’t win but I liked playing. I’m still confused as to who actually won the contest. I was stuck in O’Hare with intermittent Internet Connectivity so I missed out on the final thrilling moments of this game. I had this post written and all of the pieces would be put together one by one ready to go if I found all the elusive pieces and could win, but fate was against me. PayPerPost has done it again. They have made me obsess about finding little pieces of a puzzle all over the Internet. But I rose to the Challenge and found all the pieces that were out there. I scoured, traded, and generally begged borrowed and borrowed some more to find all the possible pieces for this scavenger hunt that was sponsored by HP.  The puzzle is a collage of pictures that Veronique took during her trip to Europe. They are wonderful and fun pictures and the collage is cool. Veronique should do more as the PayPerPost Poster child. She is very cool. The competition was very nice with these searches and...

HP Scavenger Hunt Ends ...

At least I think it has. I haven't had Internet Access in 45 minutes. All the pieces should be out now, including a puzzle key. The competition was fun. Congrats to the winner, whoever you are.

The HP Scavenger Puzzle Is Done ...

The HP Scavenger Hunt Puzzle has been completed. Not by me mind you, (well I did complete it after the fact.) I was getting puzzle blocked by T-Mobile and The O’Hare Airport when the winning occurred. We are still not sure who won but I will updated when I find out. The puzzle was a fun thing to participate in. I hope that another one comes along in a month or so, give us time to recuperate from this one. I met some very nice Posties while doing this. We had fun.

Getting Things Done ...

I got this book a while back called Getting Things Done. There are some fantastic tips for getting your whole life organized. I would read the thing again but I let a friend, who really needed the book, borrow it. He lost it. Yep, there was nothing that Getting Things Done could do for him because he lost it pretty much right after I gave it to him to read. I really just had to laugh at how things turned out in that situation. But I did get to read this book at least once and took many things to heart.

Travel Carbon Monoxide Detector ...

Photo-A-Day #640 This is my new traveling companion. And I must tell you that I am in no way ungrateful that my parents' gave me this to take with me on my trips. You see they saw this story on the news and I got a Carbon Monoxide Detector to take with me on my trips. It is important to have carbon monoxide detectors in your home. The issue I have with this thing is that it is huge, I have to remember to take the batteries out when I leave my hotel room and before I go to the airport. This thing makes the most ungodly loud noise, which of course is what it is supposed to do. I would hate to be going through security with my suitcase and have this thing go off. I’d get the full body search for sure. But I appreciate that they gave this to me. I may need to check on something more travel friendly. And now my airport rant. You know how those things end up happening. Why don't airports have FREE Internet access? I am so frustrated today. I have been participating in a contest spons...

The Pond ...

I have been helping another Postie named Karen with some HTML questions and she was kind enough to publicly thank me on her blog Clutzy’s Clutzes and she added Photo-A-Day to her brand new blog called The Pond. I have been spending the past couple of days connecting with many Posties out there. There are a lot of great Postie Bloggers in the PayPerPost community. Karen also has a third blog called My Opinion Counts. Karen has had a lot of time to blog lately because as she told me, she is klutzy and on the couch wearing two surgical boots, ouch.

Autumn's blog

I have mentioned my Friend Autumn on this blog before. Well she has her own blog and is actively updating it now. She added my Photo-A-Day to her blog the other day and wrote a nice little blog post about it. Autumn is awesome in so many ways. First off she is probably the sweetest person you would ever meet. She had hungry hungry hippos when we were growing up (This was important as we we neighbors till I was 7 and we often played together. I did not have hungry hungry hippos and at that time that game was one to be coveted. I loved playing it. She also had strawberry shortcake dolls and I played with them too, it was the 80’s, don’t judge me!) I also remember watching Frankenstein (we’re talking the black and white version) at her house on Creature Double Feature and getting scared. I’m a big baby when it comes to scary movies. I seem to have gotten off on a tangent. Autumn was also recently crowned Miss Wheelchair America and she is visiting all sorts of cool places like the Rose Pa...
