Fitzy Visits Me ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01071 Tonight I put Fitzy in my office so that Andy could find him there. We’ve been playing video games together in her each night so it would be a new place for Fitzy to visit. I wonder if Andy will find him and how long it will take for that to happen.

Playmobil Back to the Future III Advent Calendar ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01070 Last year I had the Back to the Future advent Calendar from Playmobil. They sent that one to me for free. This year I picked up the Back to the Future III Advent Calendar on my own. I have the BTTF DeLorean and Playmobil has created a bunch of additional sets so I picked some of those up as well. I’m a big fan of the movie so seeing some of these additional sets and all the fun accessories that you get in the Advent Calendar will be so much fun. Some of the things that are in the Advent Calendar make changes to the car, too. That way it will match how the car looks in the movies.

Shang-Chi and The Protector ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01069 The other day I was in Target and I saw that there was a mini set of Shang-Chi and The Protector. I have the larger version of this set as you can see in the photo. I loved the movie and when the dragon shows up in the movie, it looks amazing. I like how LEGO put this dragon together. It looks very cool.

Presenting The Ameri-key ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01068 My house key finally gave out. I was taking it out of the Keysmart the other day and it was bent. I bent it back and it cracked. I knew that it was not going to work on the door ever again. So, I went to Walmart today to get a new key. I had a very slight set of options for a new key and I went with the bald Eagle America one. I called it the Ameri-key as a Dad pun and it went over like a lead balloon with Eva. Andy got more of a kick out of it. Well, let’s hope that this key doesn’t break anytime soon. I will miss my Harley one, which I had gotten at Walmart years ago.

LEGO Marvel Avengers Advent Calendar – Day 2 ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01067 Yesterday I mentioned my dad fail on the whole Advent Calendar for the kids thing. Today I am going strong on my personal Advent Calendars that I am doing through my YouTube Channel. My main one is the LEGO Marvel Avengers 2021 Advent Calendar. I say my main one because the Playmobil one that I ordered has not arrived yet. On the first day I revealed Iron Man/Tony Stark. Today I got a bag full of accessories to make Iron Man look like he was firing repulsor beams and flying. I black out the newly revealed item for my video thumbnail. I’ll be adding to the image each day as we go through the month. I probably won’t be posting pictures of each day on here but I tried to take a photo of something else today and it did not come out very well so the only other thing that I photographed today was this toy. Here is the unboxing.

Advent Calendars for the Kids ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01066 Usually I am right on top of getting advent Calendars for the kids. For some reason, this year, I completely dropped the ball. I bought two for myself to use for my YouTube Channel, but nothing for the kids. So, today Andy was wondering where the Advent calendars were and I felt pretty bad about dropping the ball. I first looked to amazon but you can’t get any calendars before December 20th and that is far too long a wait. So, I went to Target, Walmart and Five Below. I only found something once I got to Five Below. It was a cheap knock off LEGO type Advent Calendar for these cheap bricks called Block Tech. It was the only thing I could find so I bought it. I then went to the Mall and when I was in Newbury comics I found the Elf one. This one is at least made by a company I am familiar with. The Elf one is for Eva to open but for the kids to share and the Block Tech one is for Andy. It is cheap and cheesy but he enjoys having something to open each day. as ...

Minions Ornaments ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #01065 At Andy’s school each class is getting a Christmas tree to decorate. The students decide on a theme for the tree and then they bring in ornaments for decorating. Andy’s class is going with a minions theme and Andy came home and immediately made four ornaments out of clay. He is pretty amazing when it comes to creating things out of clay. The tree thing is a yearly thing and last year Eva came home with her class’s tree. However that tree ended up dying and the running joke with her class was how Eva killed the tree named Toby McCheesey. Apparently this comes up often and now that they are working on their new tree they are having a mock trial regarding Eva’s involvement in Toby’s demise. She gets a kick out of it so there you go.
