New MOTU and TMNT Additions to the World’s Smallest Line

Super Impulse sent me some of the newest editions to their World’s Smallest line of micro action figures for free to play with and review. Opinions are my own.

Back at Toy Fair in February I toured the Super Impulse booth and got to see that their World’s Smallest Line was getting bigger with the addition of more micro action figures from the Masters of the Universe and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These new World’s Smallest and World’s Coolest toys join the ranks of micro action figures from Transformers, Power Rangers and G.I.Joe! They are the coolest little toys and I was excited to see which ones were sent to me.

In the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line I received Leonardo and Donatello.

In the Masters of the Universe line I received He-Man and Teela.

In the Masters of the Universe line I received He-Man and Teela.

Let’s start with Masters of the Universe. This franchise is looking to explode in the near future with a couple of reboots coming to Netflix. There is still a large following of fans from way back when I was a kid and these new micro figures are a fun nostalgic toy that fans will enjoy. I definitely want to pick up Battle Cat because the He-Man figure can ride on Battle Cat. The He-Man figure himself comes with his signature sword, a shield, a battle ax and a knife. I don’t think I ever saw him use those last two weapons but his sword was about it. He does look like a barbarian and so should also have a shield but I’m not sure how much he used one.

He-Man

The World’s Smallest Teela figure has her in her bodysuit and snake armor/headdress. While she was not really wearing that in the show her original figure came wearing that armor. Teela also comes with a staff and a shield.

Teela

On the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles side all four of the turtles will be available and I’ll make sure to get them. The interesting thing about the TMNT figure cases is that they are key chains where the others in this series are not. I received two of the turtles: Donatello and Leonardo.

leonardo

While Leonardo is one of my least favorite turtles he does come with cool katanas.

donatello

Donatello is my all time favorite turtle. He comes with his signature Bo staff and looks awesome. I love the tiny package that he comes in. The artwork on the packaging for all of the World’s Smallest line is fantastic. I’m going to ind the other two turtles and finish out my collection of these fun toys.

Sorting Transformers ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02424 Yesterday I drove Andy to school. Today I walked over with them. I did so not because I didn't think Andy would be safe on their own. Andy has been walking home from school for well over a year so walking to school is the same thing just in reverse. I wanted to see how long it actually took for the walk to go. I of course, over estimated how early we had to head over. The walk itself only takes a brisk 15 minutes. And that is at a modified teenager's shuffle. So Andy can leave the house around 6:25-6:30 and still get there by 6:45 when the doors open to the High School. Good to know. During the day I started one of the projects I've been meaning to start and have been putting off. I'm sorting through my Transformers and getting them ready to sell. I have talked with the guys at Double Midnight Comics about selling them my collection. Not the stuff I have on display and also I am picking out some figures that I want to keep as part of the collectio...

Time with Lexi ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02401 Today We watched my sister's dog, Lexi. My sister and her husband were coming back up here from their home and they had boarded the dog. They weren't sure if they'd be there in time to pick her up so we did that for them. We had Lexi for a couple of hours before they arrived and we had dinner together. Lexi was pretty chill for the most part until Torrun came in to the living room to investigate. At first they just looked at each other. Andy grabbed for LEXI's leash and then Lexi tried to go after Torrun. Torrun ended up bolting for the upstairs and we did not see her for hours. James knew enough not to even come down.

Time For Another Change ...

Photo-A-Day 2.0 #02402 Andy decided to clean their room today. In so doing they decided that they no longer wish to hang on to their LEGO sets. So, I now have them all and I spent the afternoon disassembling many sets to fit into the one bucket. There were many Minecraft sets in there. What I'm going to do eventually is take what is in the bucket and separate it down to the individual sets that I still have instructions books for. The organizing of that is going to be daunting. I will try and figure out an efficient way to separate everything but I'm sure that will take some time. Andy also decided that they no longer want the piggy bank that was mine. That I am putting into a box for Andy for when they get older and maybe have kids of their own.
